Powerful Protocols
Zic VPN ships two complementary protocols. Pick the one that fits your network — or let the app choose for you.
WireGuard®
State-of-the-art cryptography. Simpler, faster, leaner, and more useful than IPsec.
WireGuard is a modern VPN protocol built on a tiny, auditable codebase — only a few thousand lines, compared to the hundreds of thousands in older stacks like OpenVPN and IPsec. That small surface means fewer places for bugs to hide and a much easier protocol to reason about.
On Zic VPN, WireGuard is the default for everyday browsing and streaming. It uses fixed, state-of-the-art primitives (Curve25519, ChaCha20-Poly1305, BLAKE2s), connects almost instantly, and roams seamlessly as you move between Wi-Fi and mobile data without dropping your session.
Blazing throughput
Runs in the kernel where supported, so it saturates fast links with minimal CPU overhead.
Instant reconnects
Stateless handshakes mean switching networks or waking from sleep reconnects in milliseconds.
Lean & auditable
A small codebase that security researchers can actually read end to end.
V2Ray
Advanced obfuscation capabilities designed to improve connection reliability across varied network environments.
V2Ray is a flexible platform built for difficult networks. Where a plain VPN tunnel can be detected and throttled, V2Ray disguises your traffic so it blends in with ordinary encrypted web traffic — keeping you connected on restrictive or congested networks.
On Zic VPN, V2Ray is the protocol to reach for when WireGuard is blocked or unstable. It supports multiple transports and obfuscation modes (including VMess and WebSocket+TLS), so the app can quietly switch strategies until it finds one that gets through.
Traffic obfuscation
Shapes your connection to look like normal HTTPS, slipping past deep-packet inspection.
Adaptive transports
Falls back across multiple transport methods to stay online on hostile networks.
Reliable in the wild
Built for the toughest conditions — public Wi-Fi, restrictive ISPs, and congested links.
